The Solon Area Community Foundation is a nonprofit community service organization dedicated to building Solon’s future. We are supported 100% by donations. We entertain requests for funding a variety of community projects, with an eye to having a broad impact in the Solon area.

Certificate of Appreciation
The Solon Area Community Foundation was recognized by the Solon American Legion Stinocher Post #460 on May 13th during this year’s annual street dance titled “Salute the Troops”. The Solon Area Community Foundation is a long time supporter of the Solon American Legion and recently provided funding for handicap accessible restroom improvements. SACF Secretary Linda Linderbaum accepted this recognition on behalf of the SACF.

Scholarships
The Foundation annually gives three $750 scholarships to Solon High School seniors as well as a $4,000 Doris Looney Memorial Scholarship.
